MOUNTAIN RETREAT
The original jumble of green shag carpet, cabin timbers, and heavy stone was worlds away from the owner's contemporary vision. Carlos played up the home's strengths and transformed it into a contemporary lakeside retreat.
COASTAL CALIFORNIA TOWNHOUSE
Carlos was selected to choose the interior and exterior finishes for this dreamy coastal California townhouse. His vision was to create a modern seaside retreat, void of distractions and focused on tranquility.
MIAMI INTERCOASTAL RESIDENCE
Carlos believes that design not only imitates art, but accommodates it as well. As such, he often offets his minimalist, contemporary style with various pieces that allow him to create uniquely eclectic environments. In this home, Carlos allowed the owner's art collection to guide his design. His goal was to lead the eye to the artwork rather than distract from it.
UPSCALE OCEAN VISTA RESIDENCE
The homeowner wanted a modern, tranquil haven paired with all the functionality required for everyday life. Carlos describes the large-scale French tile as "elegance personified." He fell in love with the 1950s-style Ann Sacks tiles in the powder room and paired them with the green glass vanity, making each element even more spectacular.
