CONTEMPORARY INTERIOR DESIGN
The best way to describe the creative work of Carlos Polo is to imagine yourself in a calm, relaxed haven. A room devoid of fuss & clutter. A soothing, tranquil, and restful place where you can unwind at the end of a long hard day. A place where you can escape the frenetic pace of the outside world into an environment that supports our basic human need to connect with the rhythms of the natural world.
Carlos Polo designs inspirational ways in which to apply these basic tenets to key areas of the modern home – spaces for living, eating, sleeping, bathing, and working; as well as spaces for enjoying the outdoors.

Interior Design uses creative and technical solutions within a structure to achieve a built interior environment. These solutions are functional, enhance the quality of life and culture of the occupants, and are aesthetically attractive. Designs are created in response to and coordinated with code and regulatory requirements, and encourage the principles of environmental sustainability.
Interior Lighting Design raises the general attractiveness of the design, measures whether it should be subtly blended into the background or whether it should stand out, and assess what kind of emotions the lighting design should evoke. The functional aspects of the project can encompass the need for the project to be visible (by night mostly, but also by day), the impact of daylight on the project and safety issues.
